Certification is not decoration. Our organic line is certified under EU rules and inspected by DIO (GR-BIO-01), our facility is audited against the IFS Food standard, and our oils are judged blind by international panels. Here is what each mark actually means.

Official EU Organic Certification for Memilon Olive Oil
Our BIO Crete line is produced in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848 on organic production and labelling. Compliance is verified by DIO, an accredited Greek inspection and certification body, under the code GR-BIO-01.
Certified Organic Products
No synthetic pesticides or fertilisers anywhere in the grove, and no permitted shortcuts at the mill.
Inspected and Verified
Annual on-site inspection and documentary audit by DIO, covering grove, mill, storage and labelling.
IFS Food Certification
IFS Food is the food safety and quality standard used across European retail. Our facility is audited against it every year — hygiene, process control, allergen management, traceability and record-keeping. It is the framework that makes batch-level traceability real rather than a marketing claim: if we cannot document it, it does not pass.
